JOIN US ON JUNE 1ST!

You are invited to the Third Annual Anchor Celebration, as we celebrate seven decades of courage and confidence on Cory's Lane. Join us as we come together to support the school we love and honor the impact it has made on our children, our families, and our community. This event is a cornerstone of SPS development efforts -- paving the way for continued legacy for years to come. We assure you this is an evening you will not want to miss!

We will gather in what students affectionately call the "Big Back Yard", easily the most beautiful area on our campus behind our main building. With stunning views of the bay, enjoy an evening full of revelry and celebration with parents and friends of the Saint Philomena School community.

OUR VENDORS

Plan to arrive at 7:00pm to enjoy all the night holds! We will say our goodbyes at 11:00pm. Here is how this momentous evening is coming together:

  • 7:00pm: Peruse our silent auction items and connect with others while you sip on cocktails (or mocktails) from cash bars run by RI Cruisin' Cocktails! Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be passed by 401 Gourmet, named RI's Best Wedding Caterer in 2022.

  • 8:30pm: With a nod to our amazing eighth grade class, we will take a few minutes to celebrate their accomplishments. We will also have exciting live auction items to share and announce our raffle winners!

  • 9:00pm: Dancing commences with an amazing DJ, who can play all of our favorites. A delightful dessert spread from 401 Gourmet will also appear.  Moving Dough will roll onto campus and provide pizzas to keep you dancing.

Follow us at @anchorcelebration for exciting event updates!

Please note that eighth graders do not need to purchase tickets for the evening’s festivities.

We look forward to celebrating Saint Philomena School with you on Saturday, June 1st!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will dinner be served? No, but hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and pizza will be served. We encourage attendees to have a small meal before they arrive.

What should I wear? Celebrate the springtime in comfortable cocktail attire. Ladies in thin heels may find it difficult to navigate the Big Backyard; sandals or block heels will make your evening much more pleasant.

What do I need to bring? If you wish to enjoy beverages from RI Cruisin' Cocktails, please bring your credit card or cash, as it is a cash bar. No ATM will be available on campus. If you wish to bid on any auction items, a credit card or checkbook would also be necessary.

Do I have to be a Saint Philomena parent to attend?  Absolutely not! All adults are welcome! We encourage our community to extend an invitation to friends and family so they can experience the magic of Saint Philomena School.

Are children included? While our eighth grade students will be in attendance, we encourage all other students to remain at home. Please note that eighth grade students do not need a ticket to attend.
